At a fan convention, Gary Busey is accused of sexual offences.
At a New Jersey fan convention this month, actor Gary Busey was accused of sexual offences.
According to Cherry Hill police, Busey, 78, was charged on Friday with two counts of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact, and one count of harassment.
The allegations are related to offences that occurred at the annual Monster Mania Convention, which took place at the Doubletree Hotel in Cherry Hill, a suburb of Philadelphia, from August 12 to 14.

All three days of the event were supposed to feature Busey, who resides in Malibu, California.
An inquiry for information from the police elicited no immediate response. Furthermore, it was unclear whether Busey had legal counsel to address the allegations, and a message left for one on Saturday wasn’t immediately answered.
Busey is primarily known for playing supporting characters, but he first gained notoriety and an Oscar nomination for his performance as the title character in the 1978 movie “The Buddy Holly Story.”
