President Joe Biden called Liz Cheney on Wednesday after the Wyoming representative and vocal pundit of previous President Donald Trump was crushed in her state’s Republican essential.
Biden contacted Cheney, who procured the fury of the previous president when she casted a ballot to reprimand him over his part in the January 6, 2021 uprising and her ensuing work on the legislative panel researching the matter, as per an individual acquainted with the discussion.
The White House declined to remark. A Cheney representative didn’t quickly answer solicitations to remark on the call.
